....for a roundtrip from London to Swansea tomorrow?

Ok, eventhough I have a full tank the main problems are its a c63 amg and I have to go as its a friends wedding.

I will definitely need one and a bit tanks but what are the chances of finding fuel en route?

Answers (both speculation or fact) would be appreciated!

Just in case, watch "Mad Max II" tonight for some tips.

I would guess that it won't be too hard to find fuel as there is no strike so it's still being delivered. Whether or not everyone is still queuing is another matter.

[blondelogic] Floor it - the quicker you go, the shorter the journey time; the less time there is for your car to burn fuel. [/blondelogic]

By all accounts people have only been queueing at cheap places; I imagine the motorway services will still have plenty. wink

Went to Sheffield and back yesterday, passing many garages and not one had a queue. However diesel in a couple was £1.55.

glad to hear it was fine. My understanding is that even if there was a strike there would need to be a weeks notice + 'discussions', no strike news as yet so can't be any less fuel for at least two weeks,

secondly, everyone has pretty much filled their tanks anyways, infact i think stations are going to be surprisingly quiet the next few days!
