There was a thread here where I asked about which car my wife should get on Motobility.

Some people were good and helpful, and I took the advice that it was her car and that she should choose.

Others thought we were squandering their tax.

Well we are squandering no more. We were due to collect the car on Friday, my wife died on Thursday.

Im extremely sorry to read that Simon.

Forums like PH are full of small men who overestimate the worth of their own opinions. Forums bring out the worst in some people and few act as they would if they were actually conversing face to face.

The outraged blue-collar right-wing rantings of these fools arent worth your consideration.

Never has a post sucked the air from my lungs like that did.

So so sorry to hear the sad news.

Can't really think of what to say at such a sad time, only to try and be strong and to do her proud in whatever you do in the future.

I'm so sorry to hear about that.

I never get involved or post on the Mobility threads because of all the tts who don't understand the system and decide to vent their jealously in the worst possible way.

The XC90 thread was just comical. Page after page of someone explaining the system and everyone concluding that there was no extra cost to the taxpayer but then someone not reading any of it and posting that a free car was all at the cost of the taxpayer, again. Thus restarting the whole cycle of it having to be explained again. Said cycle must have gone on for a good dozen of times. Like I said just not worth getting involved in as sometime you're just doing nothing but wasting you breath.

Very sorry to hear that. As others have said, surround yourselves with friends and family.

I read the various mobility threads. Forums do bring out the worst in people sometimes and it's very easy for others to jump on the band wagon and say something they would know is much better kept to themselves in real life.

I'm sure this thread will only bring sympathy for your loss. What a terrible thing to have to go through.
