Ear Ache, water/wax
Discussion
Hello.
I have been suffering from a really bad ear ache for 3 days now, I think the problem is from water/wax build up. I phoned the doctors and they told me a nurse would not syringe the ear for 3 weeks if I started putting olive oil in.
So the question is, is there anything else I can do as it driving me mad, I have also lost most of my hearing in that ear as well as it being pretty painful.

I'm often in rivers & was looking at trying to get some ear plugs to keep water out to prevent getting what I've heard of as "Swimmers Ear"
In a large "Boots" last week I was surprised to see various types, some for cleaning ears removing/absorbing excess water & i think also for wax)
Might be worth a shot.

What have you been doing to get water into it? Are you suffering from a cold?
Nope, just a little swim.It is actually getting better since my first post, but wax and water is to blame, no infection I'm pretty sure.
You probably want to get it looked at to make absolutely sure but if it is water behind wax then these drops will help you out:
