Hyundai Coupe SIII (2002) EML on.
Discussion
Hi
My mrs has a hyundai coupe sIII. The EML came on this week so I have connected a cheapy diag tool.
It has come up with error "P0133 O2 Sensor circuit slow response (bank 1 sensor 1)"
I thought it would be realted to this as the fuel eco has gone down and recently started popping when the revs drop. Short term fuel trim on sensor 1 bank 1 fluctuates between 3% and 8% and the voltage between 0.090 and 0.690 whilst the car is on idle. Are these normal levels of fluctuation?
The voltage on sensor 1 also fluctuates whilst holding the car at around 3,000rpm and the fuel mix is constantly moving from rich-lean-rich. The voltage on sensor 2 at this point remains much more stable at arounf 0.110v
I'm not sure what the short term fuel trim should sit at. Bank 1 sensor 2 sits at a constant 0.395v.
Would anyone be able to say which sensor, bank 1, sensor 1 is? It is a 2002 1.6 not a V6.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
