Was there a link to Dvla dept that gives you (for a lady Godiva) the print out of ownership history of one's jam jar.

One for the life of one cannot locate said information .....guv (not Gov)

In the past I've just dropped them a line at the generic address with a covering letter and a cheque for a fiver. They photocopy everything they have relating to your car and a fat brown envelope arrives a week or so later.

It used to be a free service - twenty of so years ago!! I got a very faded photostat of my Rover P4 docs in 1990-ish, which I still have (and the car).
