After many years of not watching live music, I'm heading out tonight

The Twang at Concord 2 in Brighton since you ask.

Doors open at 7, show starts at 7.30 Are there usually bands on before the main? Happy to have a drink before but don't want to arrive crazy early.

concorde 2 is quite long and narrow though so unless your tall get there early or prepare to 'move' to the front.

Great gig, lots of fun. Stayed away from the front which was lucky as some tossers thought it would be fun to start fights and only left when the band refused to play.
