Whining gearbox..........
Discussion
The T5 gearbox on my 44k mile Griff 500 has begun to whine in 2nd and 3rd gears. There are no clonks or other noises, just the irratating whine.
Any suggestions as to the likely cause? Also any suggestions as who to go to for repairs (TVR indie, or specialist T5 repair shop). Would help if it were in the SW somewhere. Apart from actual repair, how many hours labour should I expect to remove and refit box?
Any advice much appreciated.

May seem a silly question, but have you checked the oil level? As far as repair/rebuild I would recommend Bernie at CTS or John Reid of Grantura Engineering.
