Karting woes

Certain karting place in Scotland. Lets call it BangMountain

Writing this while im still a bit fooked off.
Got through to the semis starting in pole position. Got way ahead lapping a good 1.5 secs a lap faster than the next bloke in a 34 sec lap so a good lead. In lap 7 of 8 my throttle cable snapped meaning i did not finish.
Therefore meant they wouldnt put me in the final, now if it was professional stuff i understand but its blokes on a stag do.
They must have a morning inspection so why was this not done properly as the cable would of frayed before snapping, its not exactly under alot of tension.
Am i wrong to be so pissed off?

Indeed. The best outcome though would of been to put an extra cart on at the very back for me. As i paid my money and put some good effort in but there car failed. They just refused to do anything though

When starting from pole, technical difficulties are the main cause of losing.

Could be worse your 'best' mate could wait until you were lapping him then deliberately take you out- 'for a laugh'.

Well my brother (who won in the end) used that kart before me so im blaiming sabotage on him. Cheered up a bit now and getting ready for a night round edinburgh
