Long Term Ownership?
Discussion
Had my Cerb for a year now, and still lovin it. The bit that bothers me though is whether long term ownership is viable, or whether its simply a financial time bomb. If I keep it a few years (and I'd like to) an engine rebuild will eventually come my way. (I have no idea how much that would be). So what will become of Cerbs long term?

Coming up to the start of my 5th year with mine. Just had the big service and was expecting a long list but no, new rear disks and a throttle pot.
Over 30k miles so far, can't see any reason it won't achieve another 30k. Pay careful attention to warm up procedures, keep an eye on levels, look the car over regularly.
The engine is actually quite tough, very few have actually 'broken'. Early models had their problems but you certainly don't see many threads on AJP engine rebuilds on here. My dealer has a number of Cerbs they see on a regular basis all over 75k miles running the original engines. You are more likely to suffer Gearbox (5th gear mostly) or diff problems before the engine needs any work.
