I've just got my hands on one of these lovely bits of kit...



... just the tv, not the rest of it. It's the version with a VCR drive, a slot in the front panel, complete with a jammed cassette that's probably been in there for years. I've been wondering about removing the VCR gubbins and putting some sort of dvd drive in there instead but having had a nose round tinternet there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on twiddling with these things. I welcome any cack handed suggestions from the PH massive about anything suitable that might fit, the present set up just has a scart lead from the VCR to the back of the tv section by the look of it. That's all I know at the moment, haven't had much time to look at it properly.

Gut the case of the VCR and build an htpc to go in it ? I see quite a few builds done in old vcr/sky box cases.
