Napster - Rhapsody

Anyone else been unfortunate enough to have to make this change? I use Napster to listen to Music/Radio through my Sonos system and got an email last week saying Napster was becoming Rhapsody, so I had to convert over.

Rhapsody is absolutely awful. I've lost all my playlists as the convertor couldn't find the tracks. There is hardly any of the music on there that Napster has. Very disappointed.

I have already paid my Napster yearly fee upfront, or I would have cancelled and went straight to Spotify..

I've also just signed up to Napster a couple of weeks ago, and been most disappointed by the switch to rhapsody. The choice of music seems to be very poor compared with Napster

Well I got a response. Pretty standard saying they are still carrying over the music from Napster.

Should be done in a few days. If I am still not happy I can cancel.

Will see how it is in a week!

So they introduced the switch without having the full library sorted? Crazy... it explains why I've had a 50% success rate for finding what I'm looking for though. I might have a look tonight to see if anything new has appeared.

I subscribed recently due to Spotify failing to produce an IPad app. Napster has one that needed some improvement and they had identified exactly the ones I was concerned about. With the relaunch they've dropped the iPad apps so I'm in exactly the same position I was with Spotify except the iPhone app isn't as good. Won't be continuing the subscription.
