Definitely one of the crazier things that I’ve ever filmed. We took a car and attempted to drive it on the UK's oldest Wall of Death. All credit to Dangerous Dave at Demon Drome for pulling off an incredible stunt and yes, the wall is absolutely vertical.

Enjoy

The video would hhave been much better without the ridiculously massive over-editing.

It was pretty scary at the top too. What doesn't come across is how much the wall was moving as we sent a car around it pulling 3g! Remember, wall is made entirely from wood and was built in 1929!

Sorry you didn't like it. We wanted to give it a look but didn't think that we'd compromised the stunt. Thanks for looking anyway.

Don't get me wrong, the stunt was impressive, just the video was OTT in my opinion.

Interesting he wore a helmet in the car but not on the bike!

Considering the extra mass of the car pushing out on the wall it REALLY does show how stongly built it is.

There are health and safety issues when driving a new Mazda2 around the wall and none when you're lashing around on a 1926 Indian motorcycle! In fact, the only head gear that you need is a t-shirt to cover your eyes!

That's what I thought. (Apt user name, too).

I thought the video was excellent, looked good and edited well, was it done on DSLR?

John.

My vote for "Most Steely Balls Of the Week" definitely goes to the bloke in the middle.

Good video too smile

The wall of death is one of those things I was always slightly underwhelmed by until I saw it (with bikes in this case...) in the flesh. Simply gobsmacking.

Always thought the wall of death (in person, not on youtube), was one of the best shows around. The wall is actually really high if you've been to one, and standing at the top looking down, 3 ancient bikes spinning round and swooping from the top to the bottom, strong smell of petrol and lots of noise = Lots of fun.
