I need some PH advice. I'm 29, no kids. Cycle to work mostly. Like cars, and enjoy driving, but don't like the associated costs so rarely drive for the hell of it.

Currently own a 156 GTA. I have owned it for 4 years, and like it very much. It costs me a bit to run it, but I'm fond of it. It's a compromise car, but its pretty quick and quite involving.

I am also very fond of the Citroen C6. Think its a stunning car. Running costs would be very similar to my current car. It's not very involving, nor quick.

The two cars are chalk and cheese, but I'm toying with the idea of selling the GTA and getting a C6. Am I mental?

No; they're awesome.

Personally if I were in your situation (like I am) I'd sooner have a sports car, whilst I could. smile

I have a friend who's really into french cars, and a bit of a citroen nut.

He had a C5, and swapped it for a C6 after really, really wanting one. He was really disappointed. He said it was HUGE, so big it was unwieldy, and not really all that comfortable, considering its reputation.

I'd drive one to get a feel for whether you think you're going to enjoy using it.
