Why we love Range Rovers

Driving to work this morning I was coming round the Chiswick Roundabout when, completely unanounced, the rear view mirror fell off!

If you didn't laugh you'd cry!

I shut the door on mine a few days ago and the front offside fog lamp lens fell off and shattered on the drive, sounds like they are from the same batch
I am just going to replace it now.

By the way, Landrover quoted £65 plus VAT for the lamp, Dingocroft at High Wycombe charged £23.50. How can Landrover get away with it ?

Mate of mine has a RR, if three doors lock the other unlocks and vice versa. Plus the interior light works periodically on its own, then not at all and this corrosponds with a few other probs like one brake light. Oh and the rear window doesn't open anymore and......

An increase in engine and road noise is a sure sign that the top tailgate has popped open again.

I still love it.

Just finished doing a bit of work on my Classic's brakes and it was just starting to get dark, I go to shut the bonnet and it refuses to stay shut! Cue half an hours worth of messing round with the release catch and much swearing, it finally shuts, still love it though!!

Didn't think i'd be adding another comment to my own thread so soon.....acute hissing noise from the vicinity of the AC compressor followed by the appearance of the infamous "cheque book" sign on the climate control....

On the upside i found a screwdriver left in the engine bay from when it was serviced about 6 weeks ago!!
