Any recommendations for who to use to send 2 bikes to Europe
Discussion
Good Morning All.
I have been bad in the last week and bought two new bikes pushing my total to well over 20 now
. One is brand new so it will be packaged and the other I have to collect while i am back over Easter. To save me trying to manhandle 2 large boxes to Gatwick on Monday (im not sure 2 boxes will fit in our hire car anyway) and then get them back from the airport this end i think it will be far easier just to post them.
I will get a bike box from Halfords on friday for the 2nd bike so if i tape the pair of them together ill have a package roughly 1,5m x 60cm x 1m and weighing 35kg.
Does anyone know who i can use to send these to Germany? Price to beat is 60€ for sleasyjets handeling fee and a whole load of faffing about
Danke.

try websites like collectmyparcel who will search for couriers for you (proper companies like TNT etc), its like a price comaprison website basically, you put in the dimensions, weight etc and they display the results.
i would check the new is properly packaged, i have never been overly impressed with the quality of packaging, good enough for internal UK but i would put more packaging around it if it was going overseas.
