If you could that would be great, ended up with oil all over the place yesterday so I need to get this sorted.

If it does just PM me with what you want for it and the address to send the cheque to and I will get it over to you.

I did the same thing about 6 months ago frown

Phoned loads of poeple to try and find one and no one had one headache

However mine was a happy ending and it went something like this.....

Filled up with oil one saturday morning and went off to town. On the way there I had a sinking feeling I hadn't put the filler cap back on so stopped and found this

frownweepingvomit

weepingweepingweepingweeping

Got back to the house and had a look to see if it had dropped down somewhere but it had gone weepingweepingweeping

So off I went to phone around and after 30mins of everyone saying no I went back to the car and had one last look

Can you see it?????

There it is woohoowoohoo

It still took about 20 mins to remove the under tray but it was safe and sound.

Well worth having a second look just to make sure smile

Thanks to all I have found one, that nice chap Andy at APM had one so he is putting it in the post for me tonight.

Would it be worth a group buy to get some made as they are not easy to come by?

You can always get a flash-looking, polished aluminium, heavy one from Leven.

I'm in the same boat - I'd be in for a group buy

Its not unusual to lose the oil filler cap on the AJP, I've done it myself and know of another too. Solution is to tighten it properly wink . . . seriously though - drill the top of the cap and the filler neck adjacent and use lock wire or a cable tie to secure it to stop it vibrating undone. biggrin

So that is a group buy of 2 so far.........this may be a costly route.

Don't think the Leven has been available for a few years, but I think that since the new ownership they make a batch when there is enough demand.

I have a spare should it need to be copied. Think I might tie mine to something so I can't loose it completely.

Definitely worth a second look, preferably in strong sunlight. That's how I found my missing crank bolt - after 200 miles or so it was hiding on the engine tray!

Lost mine at a trackday at Brands, found it hiding between the bottom of the Rad and chassis rail about a year later, when it was in for a front respray and the bonnet was off.

Hi Iain,

have it from the usual source that there was a period when several Leven items were unavailable but since they've been taken over they have re-stocked with all items in their sales list and are looking for owners to suggest items that could be introduced.
