In the process of changing from normal battery in engine bay to gel battery in the boot in an Alfa GT Junior.

How much work ie cost is it to make up and fit a battery cable?

Have been quoted £150 for cable and fittings (H4 plugs, battery switch, cable) and £250 for labour?

I know you need a proper (read expensive) crimping tool but 5 hours labour? Is this not too much?

Car undergoing restoration in the South East by the way.
