Yup. Not that much weight to them and it's practically worthless metal.

Seriously? They are heavy BMWs especially or other premium marks.
A friend recently had his metal windows taken out and he got £250 for the metal value - 3 bed semi.

Not a lot certainly. Weight determines value about £1 or so but the Cat may be worth something.

Windows would have been aluminium hence the high value.

Exhausts are worthless as scrap unless you have a ton of them wink

You'd be better off sticking it on eBay I imagine; someone is likely to have use for it. Scrapyard will give you naff all.

Oops hehe

Can't imagine it's the easiest way to make money though. You can only really buy local stuff if you're going to make a profit, and even then the time required vs. money made seems a bit crap.

I didn't think I would get a lot, and it beats queuing at the tip on a warm Saturday afternoon... Your right, I doubt it will furnish you with riches...

You don't takeot to the dump you'd rake it to a scrap metal dealer so unlikely of a queue as the local tip will just take it for free
