Given how much quicker the Carrera cup cars are than even the G55's I'm rather puzzled given the g55 is gt3 eligible and the g50 gt4.

Given that they need to be adjusted therefore to gt4/3 spec, what needs to be done to bring them up to speed?

First out this in the ginetta section, no luck, so thought someone with GT knoweldge might happen to know/ hazard a guess!

Substitution of a V6 with a V8 seems like a good start. I'd imagine that the chassis was designed from the ground up with adaptability to different formulas in mind.

Thats quite a recent change, the G55 has competed in gt3 before the new 'gt3' car was introduced.

The same for the 'GT4',Ginetta have both the G55 and G50 have entered in their v6 forms in gt3/gt4 races well before these latest models which have been designed for endurence rather than the supercup, clearly the amount of people wanting the g55/50 for just GT rather than the one make series was enough to modify the cars.

What I want to know is what the G55/G50 need to change to be gt3/gt4 spec.

The original GT3 G50 (this one? http://www.slotgear.dk/images/Ginetta_G50_GT3_-7.j... Had a zytek v8 le mans engine (detuned?) As well as some Aero updates

The g50 GT4 is pretty much the same car as the standard g50 for the g50s on the toca package however the GT4 cars have no aero. Gt4 cars have dry sumped engines, are heavier and different fuel tanks.

The g55 GT3 is a totally different car (Engine, gearbox, aero) than the g55s you see on the Toca package

I see, thanks, but I keep seeing g55 toca (looks wise that is) in GT3 races, not the 'new' GT3 G55 by ginetta.

Thanks for the help
