What is the difference between the white and blue throttle sensors.

White reflects a bigger range of wavelengths of light smile

I thought it might be that they read in different directions, ie clockwise and anti clockwise? Prepared to be stoned if I am wrong smile

sorry to steel the topic but i just got thease THROTTLE BODYS for a project im doing but not on my Tuscan because its totaly sorted i got me car from Str8-six any way im cleening them because as you can tell from the photo thay need a cleen and i see there is some sort of gunk /paste? around the grub screw/thread when putting it back do i need to get some sort of paste? or lock tight? hope some one can help?
and if i have to use the paste where would i get it from?

normally locktite threadlocker to avoid them coming out and being digested by the engine.

Carb cleaner and toothbrush. saves hassle to taking to bits


people try wd40 but its not designed to be a cleaning agent like Carb cleaner is.
