Good price for Toyos?
Discussion
After all my research which proved S03s to be superior Im gonna be needing a new set soon (only got the 3 months ago!).
I figured I may as well try the Toyos and see how they compare. Not only that but they are cheaper too!
I then be able to give proper feedback on both brands.
(Although they dont last as long. Treadwear = 180 compared to the SO3s 220).

A guy at work reckons Goodyears last longer and there isn't much between them and Toyo's I'll need some new ones soon, so am interested on anyones views.
re the alignment shnozz if its Protyre in Fareham (part of the Micheldever lot) they have the capability of doing the full geometry front and back. It may take a bit of explaining to the 'lads' but the foreman type chap at the front desk should know. Amke sure you have the figures you wnat as their computer data base for the rig doesn't have TVRs in it, just get them to dial in any car and use the actual values obtained and not the errors.
They used to do Ted Riddicks Chim, he was the TVR Sprint Champion a few years ago, now doing fezza 360CS racing
. Saw him in there one day last year getting his everyday hack...........................an Aston Martin Vantage set up

Where was it? Protyre in Fareham by any chance?
nope, F1 tyres in hedge end. they helped claire out for free in the past and just said "come back when you need tyres". I also read the helped a stricken Tuscan driver in distress for free so I felt they deserved some business in return. They also offered to beat any price and are about 200 yards from my house. Shall see how they get on. If I can get laser allignment done there i shall.

Is everything 200 yards from your house? it seems to be!
I reckon you dont really need that Rover and only bought it because it suits you now you are in your 40's!
(Thanks for the top tyre tip. I'll remember that place when I need to get new tyres).
'tis true. In grange park everything is 200 yards away. B&Q, Homebase, Sainsburys, M&S, the tip, one stop, vets, pub, curryhouse, pizza hut, KFC, BK, McD's, Halfords. Not to mention all the furniture stores and the Hampshire cricket ground. But I like my Rover...

Interested in the differences as I must replace my SO2s soon. Mike at Austec told me they would consider SO3s the best bet, so I am inclined to go that way even if slightly more than Toyss.
Any opinions and experience?
