Im currently selling my car and I took a call from a foreign sounding gent today. He told me he had a possible buyer for my car and asked if I would send him some pics of the car. I agreed to do this and he sent me his email address by text. I googled it and his mob No and I found an enquiry from him in 2004 concerning a computer management system for a vets practice he was considering opening in south africa. His mobile No was linked to accommodation being offered in south africa in 2010.

So am I just being suspicious for no reason just because south africa has come up?

Hmmm.

It doesn't sound the most solid foundations ever, but so long as he doesn't start talking about shipping companies then it could, could be that he's got a non-web-savvy friend who wants more detail on the car. Nothing to lose just yet, anyway.
