E46 M3 electric folding mirrors
Discussion
Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere...
I've just bought an E46 M3 convertible and wondered if it's possible to get the electric folding mirrors put in although it's a factory fit option? Would this be a main dealer job or does anyone have any knowledge of anyone else who could / should do it?
Thanks in advance.

i believe you need to buy after market or oem with motors in and the get and fit the switch in door...
believe the 330 just needed switch as they had motors in mirrors.
If the car has electric memory seats then yes it's a straightforward swap of the mirrors and switch. Cheapest option would be to find used on ebay and the motors can be swapped into existing shells if you can't find the right colour.believe the 330 just needed switch as they had motors in mirrors.
Same goes for the 330 but they never had motors present with no switch and post facelift models have different wiring connectors to the mirrors.
