ISA to transfer shares into without certs
Discussion
I'm about to get some shares through SAYE (sharesave) and the investment presentation stated that we can transfer a number of them into an ISA providing it is done before 90 days. This will save me a load of tax if I decide to sell.
However, most of the ISAs I've looked at need share certificates, which we won't be issued with (as I understand). Does anybody know of a basic stocks and shares ISA where I can transfer SAYE shares in electronically?
Thanks all

I was under the impression that your shares would have to be sold then bought back within the ISA wrapper. I could be mistaken.
In the past I've successfully transferred both paper certificates and shares held in a nominee account to my iii.co.uk trading account but not straight into an ISA.

No - I thought the same thing, but apparently it is something to do with the SAYE status and having to do it within 90 days. I'll check out iii though, thanks. In the past I've successfully transferred both paper certificates and shares held in a nominee account to my iii.co.uk trading account but not straight into an ISA.
It seems you're right:

You can transfer shares that have matured from a UK SAYE into your ISA without the need to sell them first. To qualify, you must transfer your shares within 90 days of exercising your option. Transfers are subject to normal ISA limits with the valuation on transfer based on the market price at the time of transfer, not the option price.

I have my ISA with these people https://www.transact-online.co.uk/
The only thing is that you need to go to them through an IFA if you have one ? You cannot go direct. Having said that the platform is extremely flexible from my personal experience and I am willing to bet you'll be able to do what you want.
