Teaser photos and videos

Does anyone else find these really irritating?
For me, it is utterly inevitable that the car I imagine in my mind is going to be way sexier and more stylish than anything a bunch of safety regs can produce so I find it counter-productive.
Inevitably, along comes the big reveal, my own vision goes pop and I'm left soundly disappointed.
It happened with the Corvette C6 (maturing with age), the 2010 Mustang, even the new Viper to some degree and now on Facebook we have the teaser video for the new F-Type Jag. Very clever video but it will doubtless fail to live up to my own imagination.
Of course it may build interest but after the big reveal, it's yesterday's news and you look forward to the next attempt to produce a car you can instantly look at and think "Wow".
