Does anyone know of a good little place that will do a proper repair on one of the Testarossa tyres (will probably need a plug).

I don't want to use the big names as they are more worried about putting a tyre that is more than four years old back on the rim than keeping my car on the road.

Just want to be mobile for the next six week while my new full set are on order. I have had one offer from Fitzy over in East Yorkshire but I'd to try a bit closer to home first.

Thanks,
al smile

If Skipton is any good for you I can give you my guy's details. He runs a Hi Q franchise but he is a bloody good chap and I'm sure would be sympathetic. Probably do it while you wait, too.

Definitely stay well clear of the main stream, especially those that think that are quite fast, even though they aren't. They actually refused to fit a brand new tyre that I got from Camskill due to health and safety reasons. They also lied telling me that no-one else would do it especially the chap round the back, he did and he did very quickly.

Thanks guys. Oatlands is my first call this morning as they fitted the pair last time, but I'll also try the back of the fire station.

The big boys are tied up with H&S these days. Bloody ridiculous. If they stocked my size, I'd just buy a new one!

Cheers Ben, I'll let you know if I need to try your guy.

Well, it is in with Graham at Universal, which is quite handy as it is about three minutes walk from our house.

Fingers crossed he can repair it properly.
