As it asks in the title…?

We are moving to changing the car.
I have had it for 8 years and second owner
The miles are low for a F reg at just under 90,000 and the engine is solid. Shame about the other bits.

The downsides are, bumper it damaged to front.
Passenger side wing has a dent in it (not one that can be bashed out)
No F2 footwell mats (wore out).
Also the car has been getting pricey now and I am noticing a few rust spots at the back bubbling under the paint.

It seems a shame to just scrap it but looking online I see these can have little value.

Are there any other options to consider.

As much as I would love to keep it and bring it up to spec myself, I don't have a drive, garage and soon to be baby on the way, it is realistic I won't ever do anything.

Cheers……Q

Judging by your message you have feelings for the car.

I would give her a wash, take some nice photo's then park it up outside an auto salvage yard.
Then book it in for being crushed. I don't believe you need to preserve these cars for any amount of time.

With the issues you listed it probably wont be repaired, so your options are scrapping it, selling it very cheap to someone who will run it till tax and test ends and then scrap it, or donating it to a younger forum member who can try to DIY as many of the jobs as possible or strip it and race it till it meets its end.

V reg, f is above V on the keyboard, only thing I can think of. Still very poor though.

that explains it, I thought it would have been something slightly exotic and rare, like an AE86.

A friend of mine who used to work for Hyundai insisted that the F2 Evo's suspension was fine tuned by Mclaren? Is that true?
