I had one of these on an S2 I had a few years ago. It made it look a bit tidier when the roof is folded down. I think it was mr zig mentioned it a few weeks ago that reminded me about it. Anyway, I set to and started to make one. I have the basics done but need the front shaped around the roof hinge area. Thats the hard bit so I've given up for tonight. Need some more press studs too, as I didn't buy enough, I thought 12 would do but seems not

As said, I need more studs to put in between the wide gapped ones. It also goes down behind the seats to be studded on there to. So it actually covers anything placed on the rear shelf.
I can't remember the old one flapping around, I think most of that was done by mrs tt when the loud pedal was pushed (the other old onehehe)

It certainly is a very good idea and makes the car look neater when the top is down, which is most of the time. On the MGB Roadster there is a two piece metal bar that slots into each other to make one long piece, which is then placed on the inner section of the hood cover into slots on both sides to make the cover look flush. The bar is in two sections for easy storage in the boot. Is that the arrangement on yours? only in the photo it looks as though its missing, unless its the angle of the photo.

Well I finally got round to finishing the roof cover. It's not 100% as neat as I would like round the door area, but that bit has so many curves and folds.

I read what Tony said above, about a bar across to hold it up tight. Good idea ideathumbup So a chrome bar split in half and joined with an inner sleeve to hold together.

ETA when I say finishing it off, what I mean is--that is Mk2. So much more of a tight fit than the first one

cambell ^^^^^

After you spent some time chatting to mrs tt, she came home all excited about meeting someone else with a wedge. In fact she even msg'd me as soon as you'd gone.
"he's got another one as well" she said. "think it begins with T" biggrin

It was even commented on by her workmates. She didn't get that excited when someones baby pictures were shown around hehe

I am booked in to the Fastlane show---You going??

Now that certainly looks great. A nice tight fit just as I had in mind. Makes the car look so much neater with the top down, and like I say that's most of the time. Well done. I'll be watching this space for further developments.
