Any body got any suggestion why it's the highest it has been for 12 months and could it get stronger.
Has the storm blown over concerning the stability of the Euro?

It's the other way round, you're getting more Euro's for your pound than before, so the value of the Euro has gone down not up. And I don't think the storm has blown over quite yet in the EU.

Could do with the rate continuing going up, fuel in France at 1.70 is no cheaper than the UK with the current exchange rate, bring back 1.50 Euro to the £!

If only it would get back up to the heady heights of 1.50!
