I recently bought one of these http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/mini-dvr-hd-motorspor... , for my Caterham, quality is fantastic and with the remote camera you can get creative with placement (on the car tongue out)....the remote record button is really useful too to be able to start/stop recording easily and clearly.........

Could this suit your needs?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1280P-HD-Car-DVR-TFT-2-5...

I got one recently, just because some of the things I've seen people do in front of me might get me my money back from the TV show. laugh

If I remember correctly, the card you fit gives you half the hours of the GB.
So a 32GB SD card will give you 16 hours.
You do need to get a card for it.
