A friend of mine is considering flogging two bits:

1) Early 80's 512BB - needs full restoration

2) 1973 246 Dino - in a million pieces but complete

Happy to pass along details (I'm nothing to do with it)

Very interested in both, could you please ping me some more details smile

ETA, the Dino wouldn't happen to be a yellow GTS by any chance?

Andrew, I'm on blackberry so struggling to make pm work. If you msg me I should be able to reply.

The Dino isn't yellow, it is red/black and I have chassis no.

I wish I was wealthy, I'd love to restore a Boxer, they're one of my two favourite Ferraris (the other being the 308 GTB).

Yertis, I just finished some remedial work on a 512BB; set up the carbs, plug update, etc. It's off to Italy in May for a tour. I can honestly say in over 40 years I have never driven anything that accelerated like this in 1st and 2nd gear. It actually made me lightheaded. Utterly phenomenal!

And the noise is straight from the Underworld!
