I am considering selling my gorgeous 2007 XKR and swapping to a more sensible early XF as a daily driver (and buying an Aston Martin Vantage to cheer myself up at weekends smile) Anyway, I am really not keen on wood trim, but every single XF I have seen advertised is fitted with wood in one colour or another. Are there any alternatives?

Yes, the XFR, but that's your lot, they all come with wood.

Incorrect, all XF's come with wood trim.

On the new model S its Knurled Aluminium with Piano Black wood, on the XFR its Dark Mesh with Dark Oak

on certain versions you can choose Carbon as a £1000 option.

You can have the wood trim wraped in carbon finish.! I did this on my X5 Sport I had been looking around for the right spec for a while and when I found this one it ticked all the right boxes but had wood trim so rather than walking away I bought it and had the wood wraped Job done.!

Thanks, this is something I was thinking about. Can you recommend the company you used? I can imagine pulling the trim off could be easier said than done - especially the lid in the centre console...
