Hi, I used to be a regular on here but a change in circumstances meant the TVR, which I've owned since 2003, went into moth balls and has stayed there. As I'm clearly never going to use it again and ,mainly!, the wife has decided that we want to extend into the garage, I've decided to sell it.
So the question is:
Do I let it go cheap as is. ie No MOT or do I spend money on insurance, MOT and tax.
I'd have thought that even as a drive away it will be at the cheap end on the price range anyway as it's a 93 4 litre so would the extra expense & hassle be justified?
Thoughts please?

I would say its at least worth putting it through the mot - it may even pass ( unless you know that there is something obvious that will fail it) a car without mot will be very hard to sell even with a big discount over normal asking prices. In saying that I bought mine with no mot after it had been off road for a few years so there is some brave people about

If it has Mot and tax it will open it up to a wider buyer range as they can Drive it home, The hassle of getting a trailer and so on will put people off. Unless you are Ewan wink

The lower half is fitted so I won't be selling it separately (at this stage). If you are looking for an upgrade the best thing I did was to put on 283mm Sierra Cosworth discs with Granada Cosworth calipers. Cheaper than the dash & transformed the braking.
