I've been thinking for a while it's time to remove the horrible waxoil from my chassis, so today I decided to start and I can confirm it takes ages to remove!
So far the front of the car it jacked up and I've managed to clean a fair amount but it's a very slow process. The thing that has suprised me the lost is how good the chassis looks for a 1998 car and 65k on the clcok - so far it looks like a clean up and minor rust removal and re paint. Over lots of weekends no doubt............
I'm sure the waxoil has helped to protect the chassis, but it looks horrible so for me it's got to go. Not sure how many bottles of marine clean it will take but I'm on a mission.
