Nikon Coolpix S9300 or Canon Powershot SX260 HS?

Time to upgrade my camera. As titled I'm interedted in the above two cameras. The problems I've had with the previous camera is very grainy images indoors and in low light an iphone was better at this; also I take a lot of motorsport images which wern't great. I like the long range optical zoom and the fast shooting with autofocus featured on both and the slow motion HD video on the nikon, does the canon have this? I'm still not too sure which one to get! I've also looked at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ25 and the Fujifilm Finepix F770 too. I've breifly looked into compact system cameras such as the nikon 1 J1 but put off by their zoom capabilities. Any ideas?

As a P7000 user I would say don't go for Nikon Coolpix range for any action shots. I find it frustratingly slow to use and buffering and autofocus are slow (with very hit and miss focus). Static subjects and time to prepare and compose are fine.
