Love it, but you'd better be good!!!!
Yeah that's the only thing troubling me, I'm fairly competent on singletrack happy to do any red and most black runs in the UK but need to improve my jumps and drops, now I've got a more AM type bike I'm going to do a jumps and drops skills day with UK bike skills.

Lovely, I had my heart set on one but not the right bike for what I needed.
I'm jealous.
Remember reading a post you made ref them a few months ago I think, they really are amazing, took it round Bedgebury yesterday and it just hammers it, off to Wales next week for 3 days riding, I cant wait! It just makes you smile and totally enjoy yurself, and it's a pretty good skill compensator!!!I'm jealous.

You won't regret it, I invested in a advanced course last year - really improved the small aspects of my riding that made a really big difference! Like you I was more than happy at red and black runs, big drops etc but knew I could be better. One tip though, for the first few weeks after the course I found that I was over-thinking things too much when in the saddle, if you spend too much time thinking about your technique you will crash - I did!!!!!
Loving the bike...........I hit 40 this year and a Five is up there on the present list!

I did a skills course in Scotland last year which was great and has really helped my riding, but now I want to really improve my drops and jumps.

I have to say it really it a fantastic bit of kit, think you need to treat yourself!
I can't see the photos at work but from the comments I'm guessing it's bright pink?! That's in good company - look at the colour of the likes of Joe Barnes' bikes (MTB Cut rider): they ride Oranges and their signature colour is pink, I think it suits the Orange perfectly...

There's the rub though. You've GOT to be good to ride a pink bike - like gold football boots.

I quite like the colour but am nowhere near good enough to pull it off. In fact I could do with a bike painted in camouflage.
