Triplexer socket + Magic eye ?

Am i correct in thinking a Triplexer socket blocks the 9v dc supply for Magic eye ?

Would this be the solution By pass socket ?

p.s. I need the triple as i have a different Satelite feed coming down the single coax if i lose that feed i will get lots of and

You can use one of these On existing amps or distribution boxes.

In my experience, if it doesn't say it has the bypass for the magic eye, then they don't work.

A bypass will not work as the satellite feed also passes a voltage and signalling tone up the cable to control to electronics at the end of the satellite dish.

I think I have done it once but can't remember the exact combo of hardware, I am in the apartment I fitted it to later this week so will pop in to have a check.
