Help needed with restoring my Jago

Hi all,
I bought my Jago about 4 months ago. The brakes failed on the way home and it has sat in my garage ever since. I would love to undertake the work myself but just do not have the knowledge or the time.
I am looking for info on a garage that would be willing to undertake the work for me. I want a complete brake overhaul, V8 engine (if possible) and new gearbox. I am capable of doing the cosmetics myself. It is just the mechanical work that baffles me.
Can anyone give me advice or contacts of someone willing to undertake this work? Also if it is possible to put a V8 into my Jago?

where in the world are you ie are you in the south west area. if so i know a garage that is the dogs whatsits with jago jeeps. do you have the v8 engine if not i can get one for it is in my mates garage and he will prob sell it .

Cheers for the reply. Unfortunatly i'm in Kent, and with the brakes not working I would need it towed and the south west is a bit far. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Anyone know a garage in Kent?
