Ingenious bonnet fix solution needed
Discussion
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has an idea or has perhaps already done this.I would like to fix the bonnet down on the passenger side so that its not free to rattle and flap about but I dont want to use the rally car type bonnet pins or similar as I dont want anything visible from the outside. Any ideas please?

I assume you mean at the front because it can't flap about at the rear. If the rollers are lose in the guide try wrapping some black electrical tape round them until you have the right fit.
an alternative to the insulating tape is to cut up a bike inner tube and slip that over the rollers - done this to mine and it reduces the flapping of the front of the bonnet in its guides quite considerably. Cant claim it as my idea as I read it somewhere - probably here. Thanks folks, some good ideas there. Unfortunately it is the top of the bonnet near the windscreen I am referring to,not the roller end. It's just rattly and you can see the movement at high speed. It crtainly doesn't seem out of the question that it might be exaggerated by loose rollers though.
