I'm new to the forum and thought I'd throw up a few pics of my ride. I've had my 350z for a while now and I've made it my own.

Comments welcome.

Ironically for a poster called VinDiesel, I think this car would be so much better without the body kit, decals and colour coded interior. I love the exhausts though, with those two tiny backboxes and an absolutely minimal centre silencer I bet it's fairly loud. Is that a custom system or an off the shelf one? The air intake looks nice too.

It's just the cosmetic mods that are not to my taste but the performance hardware looks ace.

Lose the decals and it would be lovely, its nice as it stands. Particularly dislike the one on the petrol cap, not really my taste at all but its your car.

Interior is a bit bright smile

I'd remove decals and the headlight brows, then you'll have one very nice Z!

Very nice car, I wasn't too sure when I first looked...but then as the pictures went down I like a lot!

I like the decals aswell, something different which I don't seem to see every day anymore. Good job!

Not to my tastes, but if everyone was the same, the place would be a bit dull smile

Would invest in some earplugs if that is a K1 - those things are LOUD - have got Berk high flow cats and a Nismo cat back on mine and it is loud enough to annoy people, but the K1 is a different league - have heard horror stories about Crapspeed 'zorsts fitting properly, but yours looks alright - this is all assuming that it is a K1, if its a custom or something else, ignore my babbling smile

Body wise, I love mine stock, but the subtle Nismo kit keeps popping up on my radar - I need it like a hole in the head though...

Depends who you ask - there was a thread in GG about it not long ago and some of the stuff being spouted was ludicrous (apparently 300hp isn't enough because the car is a wee bit lardy...) - doesn't feel quick in the twisties until you look at the speedo, probably because it is pretty planted for a car of its weight until you are really on it - drives more like a GT than a sporty lightweight.

Probably not as quick as a proper sportscar, but chucking it into a bend and giving it a boot full of throttle to get the back end a little loose is certainly fun. The big NA lump gives decent grunt right through the rev range. Get the right pipes on the back of them and they make an absolutely beautiful sound - real V6 rumble low down, bit of rasp as the engine starts to come on song and the cats start breathing properly followed up with a angry bellow as the shift light starts telling you to do stuff smile

Sub 6s to 60, rwd and 300 bhp - more than quick enough for my needs.

Was going to say. Not sure my local Costco would approve of that!

I always remember seeing a 350z and an MX5 oversteering across the grass car park at Le Mans - the MX5 looked a lot more controllable and fun.

Not sure whether that's the case, and would take the 350z everytime regardless, but there you go.
