typical, at work, can't remember what oil shoudl go in the Duke and I would quite like to top it up before taking on track tomorrow

Anyone know if it needs something specific, or will any modern fully synth, do the trick. I need to buy it on the way home

Just use good quality car oil if you can't source anything else at short notice. You've got a dry clutch so it won't matter.

Sorry babes, I leave work at 4, I can't remember what oil I used in my old Duke...... just wanted to make sure that you got at least one reply or you'll get all upset.

Anyhow, have a great trackday tomorrow - and that extends to all who are going.

Use 15W50 as you want it viscous enough to remain on the desmo gear for the next start. I have just used Silkolene Pro 4 which is a lovely red colour, in mine. It is fully synthetic.

Ducati recommend Shell Advance for obvious reasons. They have thrown millions at their racing attempts over the years in sponsorship. Any fully synth 15W50 will do the trick, Motul, Shell, Rock Oil etc. I wanted Shell Advance, but could not find the stuff anywhere! Especially in a 4l bottle.

PS. Make sure you clean the Gauze out!!!
