In view of this summer's Tuscany trip...how do I connect an ipod in the RS?

My car has the standard PCM/stereo/satnav system.

I don't want to do any mods to the car...is there a way maybe to have a cable in the glovebox?

Thanks for any tip.

There is a standard Porsche kit. Costs about £400 fitted. Doesn't charge or control iPod.

For non-standard, there are other options.

If useful I've got a Dension 500 just removed from my 2006 C4S. Was just about to put it on eBay but it's yours for a decent bottle of red wine and if you come round in the RS which I saw about a year ago at a PH meet (I live in Clapham). PM me if that's of interest...

I just use a Griffin FM transmitter - the Cars stereo is average and the cabin relatively noisy, so the quality is good enough? No charging or control of course.
