Being an old git my eyesight is not what it was so I have gone for an ipad for my sat nav. I am now looking at other things it can do.
Mounted on the dash board it has a forward facing camera (the one on the back of the ipad) so video recording. I am looking at a bluetooth video camera for the rear of the car for parking. The OBD readers can give you readouts of the ecu data onto the ipad as well as fault finding codes. Knowing how to interpret the info is another matter but it will look cool
But does it fit and will it work?

Sorry Paul,
cannot answer your question on that specific device but most low end (cost wise) code readers are just that.... a list of codes which need to be de-coded from the manufacturer library. Mid level readers might allow you to clear certain codes or reset service warnings, these were in the £250-1000 price range last time I looked. If you are looking for live data/tuning info and ability (as opposed to coded info) then multilple £1000's of investment and tech support contracts seemed to be the norm.
Richard (the EFI live man on here) will likely shed light on this question... I cannot recall his screen name but Kyle will point you in the right direction.
Having the Ipad as a hub to develop does sound a great idea though.
