On way back from Paris, just passed through Le Mans. Thought I'd do quick recce of the new area I'll be staying.
Will have to see how bars and restaurants stack up, but great access into circuit and they'll be no traffic issues. Getting to mulsanne at night will be a breeze and getting out again.
Always feels weird being around the circuit outside of the 24hr. Ghost town springs to mind in comparison.
Also great driving along mulsanne outside race weekend to really remind you of how unique the track is.

I found exactly this when I visited in September - I started a thread when I came back with some pictures. It feels almost as if you shouldnt be there.DS240 said:
