To me john a v/good middle of the road tyre will do,it also keep's the cost down as well, for all the mileage we do a year anyway and donuts and legs 11 from the lights [showing off]. Just my thoughts.

Toyo T1R are nice tires and not expensive. or the sporty Falkens. Bridgestone Potenza's are great but more expensive.

Trouble is they're not available in the right size for a 350i. Standard size is 205/60/15 - anything smaller looks ridiculous and screws up the gearing.

I'm currently debating between Dunlop Sp01's or Falken ZE912, the Falken's are availble for a good price, around £50 a tyre.

When I still had the Wedge I fitted some Hankook Ventus, about half the price of Bridgestone etc. but still very capable and predictable on the limit.

Gotta stop hangin around with chumpabks....it's rubbing off !!!!
I have Started to drive with the roof up and have had thoughts about re-spraying her in a new colour....any colour, as long as it has an effeminate poncy name (crimson gaymist or handbag burgundy chardonnay)

Sadly Jonny, (due to a monumental balls up) its almost certain i will not be at the fest this year.

but every cloud (as they say) ......i doubt Chimpadoodledoo will go without my protection to ensure his safety !!

I was convinced it was in July for some reason.........

OK So last weekend The wedge did over 150 miles on a PH run and I proved to myself the rear tyres were past there best, So last week had a hunt around for some replacements, but which, to replace the worn out Firestones which have been a good tyre and lasted well (for me)

In the past I have had

Avon, Good but dont last long
Bridgestone, for some reason I just was not as happy with those
Toyo, Great Tyre
Pierelli, (What I bought for the front last time, so still on the front)

The Pierelli seem to be doing OK on the front so decided to match with the back and ordered 2 Pierelli P7 for the rear. (205X60X15 91W)

Had them fitted yesterday and they seem OK so far, also had to have a New Battery as I have never replaced that since I bought the car and it failed to start again!

So two things sorted in one weekend, When's payday?!
