Battery Warrentee Question. (Legal?)
Discussion
I've owned my car for about 6 months (Toyota clelica, 2003). I bought it second hand privately.
The chap prior to me had the battery replaced about a year before selling the car and that battery came with a 4 year warrantee from a Toyota main dealer. The battery will now no longer hold a charge.
I have the original receipt in the car's service history and want to get it replaced by Toyota under warrantee; however, they are refusing stating that the contract was with the original purchaser and it does not transfer to me despite having the receipt. Is this true? is there anything I can do?

is not transferable you're stuffed. If it doesn't I'd push them to replace.
