How do you know who's house is okay to go in?
If you are in there "after hours" then they offer you a chance to get out now and if you don't, they attack.....

After hours appears to vary from house to house though and I have no idea how it works save to tell you the other day I was in a shop happily buying and selling when it went past the "time the shop was open" and he went from "hey take a look at all my stuff and let's trade" to "GTFO or die"...........

How can anyone play Fable and not end up down the evil route? Where is the fun in that

I presume if someone is sleeping this heightens their threat should they be aroused?
No, not everyone. Some people when you wake them up they just start with their normal line of conversation. And when someone is asleep if you "sneak" near them you get the chance to pickpocket.....

It's also worth checking if you have contracted Vampirism (a lesson I learn the hard way!) if everyone starts attacking you.....

This game I am not sure if it's possible to be squeeky clean, though some of the quests require a bit of evil I sometimes play them the other way, for example one quest requires you to lure some fellow to a cave to his death, so I took him there then killed everyone inside......

Its interesting to see what route people take in games which have Good/Evil routes - like Fable, Mass Effect, KotOR and Skyrim.

Its usually the way that the evil route is the most difficult - they wont give you any quests if you tell them to "fk off" or stab them in the throat... wink So most games lend themselves to the 'good'.

However I just tend to find myself following the good path by default...

Yes, it's usually the way the games are set. Though with Skyrim some of the options appear to be evil(ish) but I am not too sure if I am being evil or good....

You do know you deposit some items in draws in the houses in the villages? So that you will weigh less?

I used to be great at Skyrim

Then I took an arrow to the knee.

I lie, I just got killed a lot. I tried so hard with the game and just couldn't 'get'

Went back to playing Grand Theft Auto with cheat mode on.

I have to say, Skyrim doesn't overly lead me into the game. At the beginning it tram lined me and then when I hit the village all info went into the Menus and vanished from the walkthrough.
That is all part and parcel of Bethesda games like Fallout and Skyrim IMHO. You can either start following the main or just go for a stroll, explore and find other quests etc.

As for Recipes you can buy them in the apothacary if needs be, you can find some dotted around or you can just randomly mix a few bits and bobs. Also remember that you can eat an ingredient and it will give you one of the uses for it, so if you then find two products which say increase stamina then mix them together and you should get a potion.
