Converting wired 5.1 system to 'wireless' ?

I have a surround sound system (JVC TH-L1) that's still perfectly serviceable apart from the fact that in my new house there's nowhere to hide the cable run from the amp to the back of the room.

I've seen a solution by KEF (HERE), but that's silly money - more than the 5.1 system was when new.

I'm not looking for the last word in audio fidelity, just something that works without a significant loss of quality, anyone know of anything?
