Not sure who to turn to, I need to have a Jensen alloy wheel refurbed and possibly powder coated for one wheel only. Any recomendations around the Ringwood area?

Having purchased a set that have been refurbished from ebay, I noticed one of them has been cut back so much the rim where the tyre sits is 5mm thinner than the rest, not wanting to use it I have found another wheel, but it needs refurbing to match the rest.
Any ideas please?

- I'm in Ringwood...& that's who I use...I'll be taking one of mine over in the next couple of weeks: if you're in no rush let me know & I'll take it with me - I work in Whiteley so I'm going anyway, but I don't drive every day.

I've used these people a couple of times on the strength of a recommendation on a one make forum:

http://www.srs-direct.co.uk/

Based in a crappy alley in Boscombe, but good quality and price.

- ah, half asleep, meant to quote the op as well...to translate, if the op decides to use the guys in Fareham, I can transport his Jensen wheel when I take mine over to get sorted. Saves a 60 mile round trip...

Thanks for the info and offers, had a go at polishing it today and it turned out good enough, not powder coated but a good coat of black cellulose.

Good result! Sadly mine needs a dent smoothing out, not really diy-able...

I've just got hold of a set of Jensen Wheels which could do with refurbishing.

Would one of you guys be kind enough to tell me what you paid please? PM me if you prefer.

Thanks in advance.

I went for Gunmetal, decided against the bronze effect. It would have been a bit different but they would have had to custom mix the paint, so if I needed a small repair in the future it would have been all 4 getting done again. Im pleased with the results, its a mix colour. Not as dark as anthracite but more interesting then silver!!

I'm getting my second set carbon dipped. A mate has had a few things on his car done and is very happy (he is a bit of a perfectionist), so that was good enough for me.

Jim, put up pics!

I'm a trend setter woop. The wi g mirror covers take all of about 30 seconds to fit. Pop old ones off clip new ones in. Yes they were dipped same as my wheels. Where you going to get yours done. I went down to the var the other day and had forgotten how good the wheels look.

A couple of rubbish shots by me!! You get the idea. I have put on H&R spacers front and rear as well, 122m front and 15mm rear. Makes it look a little more aggressive. I have also put on a diffuser from the newer LCi model. Now for some KW coilovers, a front splitter, a remap and a BBK!! Just need about £5k to finish it off!
