Tracking

I've just had new tyres fitted and the tracking done. Having now managed to kerb the alloys (don't ask!) albeit fairly gently, should I get the tracking done again or is this unlikely to have affected it?

A more important question is 'who did the tracking'. If it was done at your local tyre monkey outlet then it's doubtful that the alignment was done right in the first place. With a car like this you need to be telling them what the alignment settings should be.

Ride height as measured under the bolt plates at the outrigger corners.

Front, 140mm
Rear, 160mm

Rear
1.4 degrees neg camber
1.5mm toe in per side (12 minutes)

Front
3/4 of degree of neg camber
0.75mm toe in per side (6minutes)

What car are these for or are they the same across the range?

Mine needs set up after i fit my new shocks. Can any one recommend someone on route from Chatsworth back towards Scotland that is not to far off route of the M6 that is good at Geo Set up. Everyone who is good in Scotland are Around an hours drive North of me so may as well get it done on the monday or Tuesday i am heading home.

It is not that far out but my nitrons should be settled down after the drive.

These settings are from Derek at Ab Shocks. As far as I know there are no differences across the range that require different settings. The chassis and wishbone set-up is common. I'm on Gaz Gold Pros with 16" Spiders all round, I doubt that makes much difference from standards though

If you only just had it tracked up take it back and tell them its wandering. they should check and alter FOC

I'd say probably no, to alter the tracking something would need to have physically bent. If that has happened the bent/damaged part will need repair/replace not just re-adjusting (imho).


Is steering wheel still central when going dead straight, if it's not somethings damaged.
